Just wanted to let everyone know that I didn't stroke-out or anything over the weekend. I think the incident on Thursday was just stress-related. I felt a little off on Friday, but by Saturday, I was fine. The headache was persistent for the rest of day on Thursday, but treatable. I just cried for the first time in over a week, but this time it was a good kind of cry.

The PET scan results are in, and except for the previously known mass in her left lung, it is CLEAR, as in there's NO sign of cancer in any of her other organs. This is the best possible news we could get right now. It's all no longer so bleak. Her lymph nodes ( Read more... )

Yes, it was about my mother. It is showing up in her lymph nodes. She's having a PET scan soon. I'm trying not to fall apart and not really succeeding.

Fuck.

I've been all over the place since Friday. Sometimes I'm feeling good, other times I feel sick or can't stop crying. I've distracted myself with movies (Dr Strangelove and Lilies), the Kevin Smith episodes of Degrassi, and the first episode of the second season of Carnivale.
